Agreement for participation in the affiliate program

Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Last modified July 27, 2026

These Affiliate Terms & Conditions (the "Affiliate Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Affiliate," "you," "your") and HoneyPot ("HoneyPot," "we," "our," or "us") governing your participation in the HoneyPot affiliate program (the "Program") available through honeypot.com.

By enrolling in or using your referral link on the Program, you agree to these Affiliate Terms together with the Terms of Service and every other policy under `/terms/*`. If you do not agree, please do not participate.

1. Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must:

  • Have a registered HoneyPot account in good standing
  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country of residence)
  • Be eligible to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction
  • Not be located in, or a resident of, a country subject to comprehensive sanctions (see AML / Anti-Fraud Policy for the screening framework)
  • Not have been previously removed from the Program for cause

Every active account is automatically enrolled in the Program, so your referral link is live the moment your account exists. You may opt out at any time by writing to support@honeypot.com.

2. How the Program Works

You promote HoneyPot using your unique referral link (`honeypot.com/r/<your-username>`). Every registered account has a live referral link automatically. When a new user signs up through your link and later makes a qualifying purchase, you earn a commission in HoneyPot credits.

Account-level attribution. Referrals are tracked at the account level, not by a browser cookie. When a new user signs up through your link, they are permanently associated with your account, and you earn on every qualifying purchase they make for the life of their account. There is no expiring attribution window and no device cookie to clear.

Commission tiers. Your commission rate is tiered and rises with the number of your referred users who have made at least one real-money purchase ("paying referees"):

  • Bee (0 or more paying referees): 20%
  • Hive (5 or more paying referees): 25%
  • Queen (20 or more paying referees): 30%

The rate is applied to the amount your referee pays (in USD) and is paid to you in HoneyPot credits valued at the current withdrawal rate, so your commission has the same cash value whichever plan or top-up your referee chooses. A tier change applies to future payouts only and is never retroactive. Tiers are based on paying referees (not signups), so accounts that never purchase do not raise your tier. We may adjust the tier structure for future earnings on 30 days' notice.

Referee welcome bonus. To make your link worth clicking, a user who signs up through it receives 20% extra credits on their first real-money purchase (capped at 1,000 credits). This bonus is granted to your referee, not to you.

Milestones. You earn one-time credit rewards as your referrals grow (for example, on your first referred signup and as your count of paying referees reaches set thresholds). The current milestone rewards are shown on your affiliate dashboard and may change over time.

Boosts. From time to time we may run promotional campaigns that multiply referral payouts for a limited period. Any active boost is shown on your dashboard and applies only while it is running.

Qualifying purchase. Any Premium subscription or credit recharge made through the Services, processed by one of our supported payment partners (Telegram Stars, MixPay, and any future processors), and not refunded or charged back. Trials, promotional credits, free signups, and refunded purchases do not qualify.

3. Earnings and Payouts

Earnings. Referral commissions, milestone rewards, and any active boost accrue as HoneyPot credits in the withdrawable balance shown on your affiliate dashboard.

Two ways to use your earnings.

  • Withdraw as cryptocurrency (USDT). You may cash out your withdrawable credits as USDT to a wallet address you provide. Credits are valued at the withdrawal rate shown on your dashboard at the time of the request, and you bear any network fees.
  • Convert to spendable credits. You may instead convert your withdrawable credits into spendable HoneyPot credits and receive a 15% bonus on the converted amount. Converting gives up the right to cash out the converted credits.

Minimum withdrawal. The minimum cash withdrawal is $100 (the equivalent in credits at the current withdrawal rate). There is no minimum to convert earnings into spendable credits.

Cooling-off hold. Each withdrawal request is subject to a 21-day cooling-off hold before it is paid, so we can account for chargebacks or refunds on the underlying purchases. The release date for any pending withdrawal is shown on your dashboard.

Identity verification (KYC). Withdrawals at or above $50 in value require you to complete identity verification before payout, as described in the AML / Anti-Fraud Policy.

Taxes. You are solely responsible for any tax owed on Program earnings. Where required, you must furnish a tax form (W-9 / W-8BEN-E / equivalent) before payout. We may withhold taxes when required by law.

4. Acceptable Promotion

You may promote HoneyPot through your own channels (personal websites, social media accounts, blogs, newsletters, communities, and word of mouth), subject to the rules below.

Allowed:

  • Honest, accurate descriptions of the Services
  • Original content you create about your experience with HoneyPot
  • Screenshots and feature previews that don't violate the Prohibited Content Policy
  • Banner ads and creatives that we provide
  • SEO content targeting your own keywords (excluding restricted terms below)

Strictly prohibited:

  • Brand bidding. Bidding on the keywords "HoneyPot," any variations or misspellings, or our domain on any search or social ad platform, or running ads that could mislead users into thinking they are clicking on an official HoneyPot channel
  • Trademark abuse. Using our name, logo, or marks in domains, social handles, or app names in a way that creates confusion about official affiliation
  • Cookie stuffing, ad injection, browser-toolbar redirects, auto-redirects, or any technique that drops a referral cookie without the user's affirmative click on your link
  • Incentivized signups. Offering cash back, points, gift cards, lotteries, or other rewards conditional on signing up through your link
  • Spam. Unsolicited email, SMS, comment spam, forum spam, link injection, or any communication that violates anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR ePrivacy, etc.)
  • Mass-message platforms. Promoting HoneyPot via bulk-DM or scraper services
  • Adult content placement on non-adult surfaces. Every promotional surface you use must itself be appropriately gated for an 18+ audience (no Reddit subreddits with minor user bases, no mainstream social timelines mixing with content involving minors, etc.)
  • False or misleading claims about the Services, pricing, features, or your relationship with HoneyPot
  • Self-referrals. You may not refer yourself, your other accounts, members of your household, business partners on the same payment instrument, or anyone you instructed to sign up under you. We use device fingerprinting and payment-instrument analysis to detect self-referrals. Detected self-referrals are voided
  • Promoting prohibited content. Your promotional materials must comply with the Prohibited Content Policy. Anything involving minors, non-consensual depictions of real people, or other prohibited categories is grounds for immediate termination
  • Misleading "agency" claims. Implying you work for or speak on behalf of HoneyPot when you do not

5. Disclosures

Where required by law (e.g. FTC endorsement guidelines, EU consumer-protection rules), you must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with HoneyPot when promoting the Services, for example with "#ad" or "Sponsored" labels on social posts, and a visible affiliate disclosure on websites where you promote referral links.

6. Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the HoneyPot name, logo, and approved promotional assets solely for the purpose of promoting the Services in accordance with these Affiliate Terms. The license terminates automatically when your participation in the Program ends. You may not modify our marks or use them in any way that creates confusion or implies official endorsement of you.

We retain all rights to our intellectual property. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms transfers ownership.

7. Adjustments, Reversals, and Clawbacks

We may reverse, void, or claw back earnings credited to you when:

  • The underlying purchase is refunded or charged back
  • The underlying purchase is associated with fraud, friendly fraud, or unauthorized use
  • The referral is found to be a self-referral or otherwise ineligible under these Affiliate Terms
  • We detect any practice prohibited under Section 4 ("Acceptable Promotion")
  • The earnings were credited due to a bug or accounting error

Adjustments may reduce your future payable balance below zero, in which case future commissions are applied to the negative balance until cleared.

8. Term and Termination

These Affiliate Terms begin when your account is created and continue until terminated.

By you. You may opt out of the Program at any time by writing to support@honeypot.com. Opting out stops the accrual of new earnings; you may still request payout of any already-vested balance over the minimum threshold.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your participation, at our sole discretion, for any reason, including violation of these Affiliate Terms or any other HoneyPot policy, suspected fraud, sanctions match, or chronic refunds / chargebacks on your referrals. We may also discontinue the Program entirely with 30 days' notice.

Forfeiture on cause. If we terminate you for material breach (Section 4 violations, fraud, prohibited content), any unpaid earnings are forfeited. You remain responsible for any clawback or negative balance arising from the underlying activity.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Program is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. HoneyPot makes no warranties about projected earnings, conversion rates, the performance of the affiliate dashboard, or the availability of any payment method. Your earnings depend on factors outside our control (your traffic, market conditions, payment-partner availability) and there is no guarantee of any specific earnings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under these Affiliate Terms will not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to the Program.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HoneyPot harmless from any losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your participation in the Program, in particular any breach of these Affiliate Terms, any violation of applicable law, or any claim by a referred user that you misrepresented the Services.

12. Changes to These Affiliate Terms

We may modify these Affiliate Terms at any time. Changes are posted with an updated "Last Modified" date. Material changes take effect no earlier than 14 days after posting. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree to a change, your remedy is to opt out as described in Section 8.

13. General

Independent contractor. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and HoneyPot. You are an independent contractor with sole responsibility for your own taxes, social contributions, and compliance with local law.

Governing law and disputes. These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of HoneyPot is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes follow the arbitration procedure set out in the Terms of Service.

Entire agreement. Together with the Terms of Service and other policies under `/terms/*`, these Affiliate Terms are the entire agreement between you and HoneyPot regarding the Program.

Severability and no waiver. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder stays in full force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.

Assignment. You may not assign your participation without our written consent. We may assign these Affiliate Terms without restriction.
