How billing works, and how to stop it
Recurring Payments & Cancellation Policy
Last modified July 27, 2026
This Policy explains exactly when HoneyPot ("HoneyPot," "we," "our," or "us") charges you, whether any charge repeats, and how to cancel. It applies to every purchase made on honeypot.com and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Merchant of record. The Services are operated and sold by the operator of HoneyPot, which is the merchant of record for every purchase made on honeypot.com and the party that appears on your payment statement. For the operator's registered name and address, or any billing question, write to support@honeypot.com.
1. We Do Not Charge You on a Recurring Basis
Premium plans do not auto-renew. A Premium plan is a prepaid, fixed-term purchase. You pick a term — 1 month, 3 months, or 12 months — pay once, and Premium runs for exactly that term. When the term ends, Premium simply stops. We do not take a second payment, and we do not need you to cancel anything to prevent one.
Credits are one-off purchases. A credit bundle is a single transaction that adds credits to your balance. There is no standing order and no scheduled top-up.
No stored payment credentials. We do not keep your card number, wallet, or any payment instrument on file for future use, and we do not create a subscription, mandate, or standing authorisation with any payment provider. Every charge requires you to start a new purchase and authorise it again with the provider.
So the answer to "how do I stop being billed?" is: there is nothing to stop. No further amount can leave your account unless you deliberately make another purchase.
2. What "Monthly" Means on a Multi-Month Plan
Multi-month plans (3 and 12 months) include a credit grant that lands every month for the length of the term. That is a delivery schedule for something you have already paid for — not a payment schedule. The full price of a 3-month or 12-month plan is charged once, up front, and the monthly grants are how the included credits arrive.
If a monthly grant does not appear on time, contact support@honeypot.com and we will deliver it.
3. What Appears on Your Statement
The charge is processed by the payment provider you chose at checkout — Telegram Stars, a cryptocurrency processor, a card processor, or WeChat Pay / Alipay. The descriptor on your statement identifies the merchant of record named above, and the amount matches the price shown at checkout in the currency shown at checkout.
If you see a charge you do not recognise, write to support@honeypot.com before opening a dispute — we can identify the transaction from the amount and date and resolve it faster than a chargeback (see §6 of the Refund Policy).
4. Cancelling
Because nothing recurs, "cancelling" means one of the following, and you can do any of them at any time:
- Let the plan run out. Do nothing. Premium ends on its expiry date, which is shown on the Premium page while a plan is active. No further charge occurs.
- Stop an active plan early. Write to support@honeypot.com, or use the Cancel option on the Premium page, which opens a message to our support team. We will mark the plan cancelled. You keep Premium access until the end of the term you have already paid for, and ending it early does not by itself create a refund — refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
- Close your account. Write to support@honeypot.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. Deletion removes your account and its content as described in the Privacy Policy. Unused credits and any remaining paid term are forfeited on deletion and are not refunded.
We do not require a phone call, a retention interview, or any other friction to cancel.
5. Price Changes
Prices for Premium plans and credit bundles may change. A change never affects a term you have already paid for: the price you were shown at checkout is the price for that purchase, for its full term. Any new price applies only to purchases you make after the change.
6. Refunds and Failed Payments
Refund eligibility, the exceptions we honour, the request procedure and your statutory rights are set out in the Refund Policy. If a payment is taken but the goods never reach your account, that is a failure to deliver and we will either deliver or refund it — contact support@honeypot.com.
7. If We Ever Introduce Auto-Renewal
We may decide to offer genuinely recurring subscriptions in future. If we do, we commit to all of the following before any repeating charge is ever taken from you:
- Auto-renewal will be opt-in at the point of purchase, disclosed on the same screen as the price, never pre-ticked and never applied retroactively to an existing plan
- The renewal amount, the billing interval and the renewal date will be shown before you authorise the first payment, and confirmed by email afterwards
- You will be able to cancel from your account settings in one step, at any time, without contacting support
- We will email you a reminder before each renewal, and at least 7 days before any renewal price increase
- This Policy will be updated first, with a new "Last Modified" date
Until that happens, treat every purchase on HoneyPot as a one-off.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes are posted here with a new "Last Modified" date, and apply to purchases made after that date.
