Subscription and payment refund terms

Refund Policy

Last modified July 27, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how HoneyPot ("HoneyPot," "we," "our," or "us") handles refund requests for subscriptions and credit purchases on honeypot.com.

By purchasing a subscription or credits you acknowledge you have read and agree to this Policy together with our Terms of Service and our Recurring Payments & Cancellation Policy.

Merchant of record. The Services are operated and sold by the operator of HoneyPot, which is the merchant of record for every purchase made on honeypot.com and the party that appears on your payment statement. For the operator's registered name and address, or any billing question, write to support@honeypot.com.

1. Digital Goods Are Non-Refundable

All purchases on HoneyPot (Premium subscriptions and credit recharges) are for digital, non-tangible, immediately consumable goods. Once a subscription is activated or credits are added to your balance, the purchase is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable except as explicitly required by applicable consumer-protection law or as described below.

This includes:

  • All Premium subscription tiers (1-month, 3-month, 12-month)
  • All credit recharge bundles
  • Add-on packs or one-time purchases

2. Limited Refund Exceptions

We may issue a refund, at our sole discretion, in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charge. You were charged twice for the same purchase due to a payment-processor error and the second charge wasn't reflected in your account balance.
  • Unauthorized charge. A purchase was made without your consent (e.g. a compromised account that you reported to us promptly). You must notify us within 14 days of the charge and we may require evidence (chargeback documentation, password-reset history, etc.).
  • Failure to deliver. A subscription or credit purchase completed at the payment processor but never landed in your account due to a system fault on our side. We'll either re-deliver the goods or refund the charge at your election.
  • Material defect. The Services were materially unusable for the duration of a paid period due to a fault on our side (extended outage, lost access to your account through no fault of your own). Pro-rated credits or refunds may be granted case by case.

We do not issue refunds because:

  • You no longer want or use the Services
  • You've used part of your credits or subscription period
  • A Honey did not generate the content you wanted
  • You're dissatisfied with AI-generated output (which is inherently unpredictable; see our Terms of Service)
  • You bought a plan or a credit bundle you did not mean to buy, after it was delivered
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, write to support@honeypot.com from the email tied to your account within 14 days of the charge. Include:

  • Your account email or username
  • The transaction date and amount
  • The payment provider used (Telegram Stars, MixPay, card processor, etc.)
  • A clear description of the issue and any supporting evidence

We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear depending on the provider.

4. Cryptocurrency Payments

Purchases made via cryptocurrency (MixPay or any other crypto processor we support) are final. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by their nature and the funds cannot be returned to the originating wallet through the payment processor. In rare cases where we approve a refund of a crypto purchase, we may issue store credit equivalent to the original payment value at the time of purchase, in lieu of a fiat refund.

5. Cancellation

Premium plans are prepaid for a fixed term and do not auto-renew, so there is no recurring charge to stop and no renewal to cancel before a deadline. Full detail is in the Recurring Payments & Cancellation Policy.

You may end an active plan early at any time (from the Premium page, or by writing to us). Ending it early stops nothing being charged — nothing was going to be — and does not create a refund of the term you have already paid for. You keep Premium access until the end of that term.

For multi-month plans (3-month, 12-month) the same rule applies: once started, the term is non-refundable, but you keep access until expiry, including the monthly credit grants included in the term.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider before contacting us, we may:

  • Suspend or terminate your account pending resolution
  • Dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery (account activity, transaction logs)
  • Add the email and payment instrument to our internal block list to prevent future purchases

We strongly encourage you to contact support@honeypot.com before opening a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved faster and without the friction of a formal dispute.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. If your jurisdiction requires a different refund process, we'll honor that process for residents of that jurisdiction.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date and are posted with an updated "Last Modified" date at the top.
